During the GRACE mission, the accelerometer data exhibits a lot of twangs, some of them are correlated with the switching on/off of the thermal heaters and others not. The second ones appear statistically distributed over specific geographical areas around the Earth. The principle of the detection of these twangs and the methods to fill the scientific data during their duration will be discussed.
